Global Movement 2026:
Connecting through Movement
Spring is here, and we’re getting ready for this year’s Global Movement Event! Together with our team and partners around the world, we’re looking forward to getting people moving and going far beyond traditional running.
Because this year is all about climate change, diversity, and moving together.
Movement knows no boundaries and has no fixed forms.
Whether it’s yoga, dancing, cycling, wheelchair sports, walking, skating, or running: every form of movement is welcome. Our goal is to create a space where as many people as possible can find a place, regardless of experience, fitness level, or background.
We believe that sports and movement can build bridges.
They foster connections, strengthen community, and bring diversity to life. That is why we want to actively promote and highlight different forms of movement as a contribution to greater inclusion and mutual understanding.
If you’re in Vienna…
we warmly invite you to join us for some on-site activities:
Location:
Prater Hauptallee
Meeting point: Zirkuswiese (near the Vienna Prater)
Schedule:
- 10:00 Arrive & get to know each other
- 10:15 – 10:45 Yoga to kick things of for all levels
- 11:00 Moving together along the Hauptallee:
Bring your favorite bike or running shoes and let’s cover a few kilometers together. - Afterwards around 12/12:30 Picnic & open discussion
Here, too, the rule is: You decide how you move. Whether you run, walk, dance, or just join us. The focus is on community, diversity, and the shared experience.
